Cocoknits Tracy Class

Description:

Tracy is a classic hoodie with a handknit charm.  The hood is worked from the top down with anI-cord edging (and room for a drawstring if desired).  It is knit seamlessy into the Cocoknits method. The front pocket is picked up from the body and incorporated with a three-needle join.  Two short sections of the pocket lining are whip stitched to the inside of the sweater.  The split ribbed hem provides extra movement and comfort at the hips.

Variation on Shop Sample:

The shop sample was modified to a ribbed funnel neck instead of a hood and without the split hem.  This is also an option for participants.

Yarn:

Pattern calls for a DK yarn depending on your gauge a worsted could be used.  Participants should check with the instructor before purchasing yarn.  Some suggestions are: 2 strands Kathmandu Fingering to create a DK, Scout, maybe Feederbrook solids or Emma's Comfy Cotton for wamer weather version.
