DOODLE BOOTCAMP: Let's Stitch Your First Doodle Project
You've learned the basics of colorwork - now it's time to put those skills into action. Join us at TKG for a four-week workshop series designed to help students confidently begin their Doodle journey using the modular colorwork system created by Pacific Knit Co. This class is the perfect next step for students who have completed our Colorwork 101 course or already feel comfortable with the basics of stranded colorwork knitting.
Throughout this series, students will learn how to navigate the Doodle system from start to finish - from selecting a base pattern and choosing motifs to building charts, swatching, and beginning a fully customized project. Whether you're dreaming of a seasonal hat, cozy cowl, or colorwork socks packed with personality, this class will help you confidently turn your ideas into a plan.
Rather than focusing on a single fixed project, this course is designed to help each student build a Doodle project tailored to their own interests, style, and experience level.
Course Schedule:
Week 1: What Are Doodles?
Week 2: Chart Build & Cast On
Week 3 & 4: Knitting & Troubleshooting
Cost $60
Included:
- 1 Pacific Knit Co. Doodle Base Pattern
- Guided instruction across all four sessions
- Doodle planning worksheets
- Chart arrangement support
- Trouble Shooting assistance throughout the course
Materials Needed (Not Included):
- 1 or more Doodle Decks
- Yarn for your chosen project
- Needles required for your selected pattern
- Stitch Markers

This course is all about helping colorwork knitters move from "I like Doodles" to "I can actually make this." By the end of the series, students will leave with a personalized project underway and the confidence to continue exploring the nearly endless possibilities the Doodle system has to offer.
